There was a big storm in my city and i opened the windows to feel the draught. I nearly closed my door. I left a little bit space only and i recorded the sound of this little space:).

I needed a wall of crickets but could not find a decent one so i used some samples and multiplied them to make it sound like hundreds of crickets. Enjoy. Nice to fall asleep to, but the loop points could use some fixing-up.

This is my first submission to the site. I've recently been exploring sound design a little bit more and thought i would provide something. Here is 15 minutes of ambient sound recorded around 5 am on october 10th, 2011. I used a shure sm58 microphone through a native instruments audio 8 dj interface. Without a microphone amplifier or my active microphone ready to use i ended up amplifying this about 52 db then removed the extraneous noise by 80% @ 40 db using the noise reduction plug-in in adobe audition cs5. 5. Finally, saving the result to wav @ 44,100 hz, 16-bit.

It can be described as an energy shield pulsating. Furthermore analysis dictates that can be sound as an anti-gravity engine or an energy whirling guroscope as a cental matrix of a spaceship. Nj summer sounds recorded in the backyard of my home with a cheap microphone connected to my laptop. The original files were audacity© 1. 2. 6 files exported to mp3. The mp3 file was amplified and edited with audacity© 1. 2. 6 to remove some highway noise and airplane overflight noise while enhancing the chirp volume.

Multiple people working out in a smaller gym. Mostly weight lifting and muscle training on equipment. Lots of metal noises, people talking unintelligibly in the background (in german). Recorded with a ebs stereo array of neumann km184 onto a zoom h4.

I record the wind blowing under a métal security door. It was inside a theatre. I was with my hand recorder nagra lino. Strange ambiance.
